This site is documentation for an open-source library. It is a set of static pages: there is no account, no form, nothing to sign up for, and nothing you can submit here.
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device — no
localStorage, no sessionStorage. It runs no
JavaScript at all. It loads no analytics, no tracking pixels, no
advertising, and no third-party resources: the stylesheet and the
images come from this domain, and the text uses the fonts already installed on your device
rather than a hosted web font.
That is why you were not asked to accept anything on arrival: there is no consent to collect, because nothing is stored on your device and no one is watching what you read.
Delivering a web page requires your browser to connect to a server, and that server records the connection. The host of this site keeps ordinary server logs, which include your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and the user-agent string your browser sends. An IP address can identify a person, so this is personal data under the GDPR.
This happens for one reason: to deliver the page you asked for and to keep the service available and secure. The legal basis is legitimate interest — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The logs are not used to profile you, are not combined with anything else, and are not shared for any other purpose.

The maintainer of this site has no access to those access logs — GitHub Pages does not expose them to the owner of a site. In practice this means the connection data described above is held by the host, not collected or read here.
Server-log retention is determined by the host, as described in its privacy statement. No copy of that data is kept by this site or by its maintainer.
Pages here link to GitHub, Maven Central, javadoc.io and the RFC Editor. Those links are only followed when you click them; nothing is requested from those sites while you read this one. Once you follow a link, the privacy policy of that site applies.
Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR you may request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Given what is described above, a request about this website will in most cases concern data held by the host rather than by the maintainer, and will be directed there.
To make a request, use the repository's private reporting channel: private report form — the same private channel used for security reports, visible only to the maintainer.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
If this site ever starts doing something that touches your data — analytics being the realistic candidate — this page will say so before it happens, and the change will be visible in the page's history, which is public like the rest of the repository.
